Feminism may be about equality sometimes, but its always about "women's rights".

Some people also think that women deserve more rights than others, usually to make up for shit like "ancestral oppression", but in doing so, don't realize they're trying to perpetuate inequality, just in favor of another group.

These people probably also think that shit like class is only relevant when the woman is the underdog. Otherwise, it probably doesn't matter to them.

tl;dr: Oppression Olympics. Some people just want to get ahead, and they'll use whatever applies to them to do so.

My guess is that they see the world through rich white women eyes, so that's the most detailed dataset they have to work with, as opposed to hearing about experiences from others or doing research on their own.

Combine the tendency towards emotional reasoning, and the natural trend of people looking out for #1 first and foremost, and you get a victim mentality that is all about themselves that will never, ever be satisfied.

The reality is that simple definition feminism isn't strict egalitarianism.

The word feminism literally is only seeking equality for women (as compared to men in general, not a specific race of males) – that's not to say people who identify as feminists don't support other genders, but in reality those people are better classified as egalitarians. As a term, feminism is race blind.

Anyone who will say that the average rich white woman is more oppressed than the average poor black man is no better than a misogynist, because it's pretty obvious they're misandrists.
