Let me tell you something about being whole:
I will never - NEVER - be whole again.
Being whole is something that I can faintly recall being over 15 years ago. That is a memory that I don't even want to remember anymore, as the contrast between what I felt then, and what I feel now, is painful. It can make me fucking scream.
You want me to talk about it? You want me to talk about what it felt like when I could feel her inside me? Inside my fucking mind? Inside my fucking will? Do you think remembering "it" makes me happy? It makes me a fucking shivering wreck!
Apparently this shelter was put together by a rape survivor.
I fucking doubt that.
I define a safe place, as a place where there's no fucking talks about "it".

Everyone has their own way of coping. No way is superior than another, and if your way is to not talk or think about it so shall it be. But some people feel they do have to talk about it to cope.
