I had it on my backlog in my PS3, just tested it. Sprites were a bit outdated but the playability is oh so good. And the six groove systems, anyone can find at least a decent one.

Get Chankast or nullDC. The Dreamcast versions are better to emulate, same with Marvel 2.

GGPO/FBA supports CPS2 boards, not Naomi. Naomi was more of a disc based system and can actually work via some dreamcast emulators. Can even netplay through kaillera, but it's a long shot from good netplay.

- This game have both Capcom and SNK trademarks, so Capcom needs both permissions to make it. And since Playmore just want to do crappy MOBAs and patchinkos instead of fighting games…

I've a discussion once with a Capcom CM and a journalist about that. They confirmed what I thought.

Capcom blaming the sells of 3SOE, JoJo, MVCO and DSR are pure com. They gives guilt on us for purpose.

But, we've another problem. Playmore gives a price at Capcom for use of SNK characters, to release an online version of CVS2 and probably make a CVS3. But Capcom refuses.

So, the problem 1 is cash, the problem 2 is cash. Way2go, Cap.

Keeping the team as is though with Iori sometimes and do not care for Sagat. Its just that I have always wondered about practicing with K groove since its suppose to be Geese at its best. While I do need practice with K groove I strongly prefer N groove, and yes I do put Yamazaki on point. The order in the image is just that, an image. Thank you for your opinion.

Talking about Roll Cancelling, it's sad to see how the lack of practice affects most people's play.

I was watching 37-Reload and pretty much everyone besides BAS (which still actively plays the game) couldn't RC anymore, the rust is real.

The lack of an easy and good online solution really damaged the game survival outside of Japan.

Funny how that works out. In Marvel 2, all the S-tier characters are Marvel, and the only Capcom character to see much play is the assist-only tier Captain Commando.

That game got its shitty GC-ism, because GC pad are bad for fighting games.

And I think they tried to balance the game and remove Roll Cancels. Probably why people didn't liked it.

When I talk about "complaints", I mostly talk about japanese complaints.

I personnaly would love play EO competitively, especially if that can means characters like Kyosuke, Benimaru, Mai or Athena (or every SNK characters) would have been better.

But yeah, just like >>7965 said, the meta was focused on thos flaws. Also, EO was never released in arcades. 2000s was still the time when perfect versions of fighting games must be in arcades. Consoles ports weren't relevant.
