Street Fighter and KoF takes huge risks (except with both SF4 and KoF XIII) when they make a new game. When Alpha 3 came out, nobody can tell that "this is basically an evolution of ST". This a brand new game with brand new mechanics.
Tekken, just like the other 3D games like SoulCalibur, Virtua Fighter and Dead or Alive, this is basically the same game, the same "understandings" with a small evolution. Just look at T6's cast. Just T5DR casts with new and returned characters like Lili, Bob or Armor King.

I got into traditional fighters a few months ago after being a long time competitive Melee player, but I haven't really taken practice seriously until about a month ago when I finally bought my hitbox. Once I get fundamentals down to a decent level, I'm just gonna explore all the classics and contemporary fighters. Except 3d fighters, they aren't very appealing to me.

When I made this template, I put the Capcom on the first rows, SNK, then 3D fighters. HftF on the 3D section doesn't make any sense. So, removing it and putting Pokkén instead should make more sense.
