So I'm a poorfag, and I need atleast 150gs of protein a day to build muscle or even keep what I have.

This shit costs 28 dollars at my local Walgreens and it seems bretty gud, but I'm wondering if my fellow /fit/izens know a better deal I could get.

This stuff has 60gs of protein per two scoops.

Also can we have another high test thread? Last one died.

>>81659

And better deal doesn't necessarily mean cheaper.

Price to protein total ratio is also fine.

 No.81664

This shit is expensive here in Brazil, I suggest eggs if you actually gives a damn about eating food but brotein powder is actually very good if you don't want to get busy in the kitchen.

 No.81669

I have a bit of a hard time eating alot, I mean I could try but I'd basically have to spend alot of the day eating then.

 No.81673

>>81659

This shit is expensive as fuck. It makes diet a littler bit easier, but it's not worth it. Holy shit, that thing is expensive.

 No.81674

Bruh, you think you're poorfagging now

THIS SHIT COSTS AROUND 800 FUCKIN' POUNDS HERE IN EGYPT WELCOME TO THE SANDLAND MOTHERFUCKER

And I am merely a student, I don't have the money to buy it, and I am scared to shit that it'd ruin my fuckin body and cause kidney failure (it could cause kidney failure, I could write why here if anyone is interested)

So my shit to get protein is fucked up, but that's not stopping me!

>Muh protein daily sources

A tuna can a day post-workout (would replace it with chicken breasts if possible), that's about 50-55 Grams of protein a day

Eggs, I eat around 4 at least a day, sometimes 6, today I had 8 eggs, no big deal

There's 6-7 grams of protein per egg, So I got around another 50 grams here today

What'ever my mother's cooking for lunch (I am fuckin' 16…so yeah I live with my mother), there should be meat, chicken or fish in it, so a little more protein, at the very least 30 grams

Then there's cottage cheese, yogurt and milk, add those in the morning, post-workout, midday and for snacks, and you probably get your protein

Also, it's worth mentioning that you fuckin' live in burgerland, there's all kinds of weird shit in your local store I will have helluva time trying to find like Chia seeds, the shit has protein in it, add it to your oatz

You know what has even more protein, Wheatgerm Yes, I realize that this is wheat sperm, you will take it voluntarily and you will like it and get mired for your sick gainz, bruh

I guess you could even use wheatgerm instead of oatz

So get creative, find alternative sources, I haven't said a single word about beanz and all the veggie protein

One last thing, as one Deutschbruh once told me

>Eat sardines, fuckloads of them

You're gonna make it, mayne

 No.81677

I'm interested, drop some information Mr.Sandgains. I know about your kidney having a difficult time to process this shit, but not the specific detail

 No.81683

>>81677

Okay, bruh

The Nephron is the basic structural and functional unit of the kidney

The bastard has a sac at the beginning of it named Bowman's Capsule

Think of it like some sort of filtration sieve

The blood goes in through the Glomerulus (think of those like blood vessels reaching inside the capsule), water, vitamins, sugar, glucose, minerals and that shit passes through our "sieve" while blood cells and protein molecules don't

Why?because they're too big

Blood cells return to blood, protein does too, but when you overload protein, it'll have to go somewhere

If you're doing adequate lifting and getting proper rest, your muscles will use the protein to rebuild themselves, bigger and stronger

If you, however, don't use all that protein, it'll remain in circulation, then it'll hit the capsules, blocks the "sieve" and stopping water and other stuff from passing

When this happens to all your capsules, it's kidney failure, m8

Sanpcity looks like a nice place to live at this point

If that protein ends there then you didn't need it anyway, just don't eat as much, it doesn't matter that much from where it came.

Don't know about where you live, but near me I've seen whey protein isolate sold in bulk at some supermarkets. It sells for like $6-7/lb. Soy protein isolate is right next to it for like half that.

 No.81955

>>81918

Mercury poisoning usually makes a person go a bit mad, messes with your senses and disorients you. Back in the days of shit safety standards in schools my Dad had a teacher who had little pools of the stuff on surfaces in his lab and would brush it away with his bare hands, he gradually lost his hair, went a bit ghoulish and went loopy enough to be sacked.

With regards tune you'll probably be fine, think yourself lucky it's not Japan cos they have no sense of food safety standards, or rather, telling the truth about them (until it's far too late).

/fit/, I am sorry

I am sorry for all the tuna shilling I did in this thread

Just checked a tuna can and uhhh, the net weight includes its oil and it's not bluefin tuna

Which means I only get about 20 grams of protein from it, 35 grams less than I had thought

Also, the kind I changed to recently isn't treated to remove mercury, so I am in deep shit here

Bros, I am sorry

I guess I will just change to chicken breasts and leave tuna for the occasions, same price, less mercury, tastes better and I should be getting more protein out of it, depending on the proportions I eat a day

Moral of the story is, OP

First of all: Make sure your tuna is treated to remove mercury and check its nutrition facts because there are many species of tuna, bluefin has the highest amount of protein I guess

Second of all:

The people you don't expect treason from are those whose treason hurts the most

trust no one, not even yourself

trust Zyzz tho

I thought we were best buds, tuna

I thought we were bruhs

I thought Rapture was open for business

Anon i would suggest Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein you should try buying it off of Amazon for the 1lb version which is 25$ if you do not like the Stevia sugar go for the regular version of Sunwarrior. Its not bad at all. Best part is it is kind of tasteless but it will have a tiny bit of a texture to it like most protein powders.

Whey Protein is a supplement. In theory it should be used to help supplement your diet. On a cut not every can reach their protein goal for the day, so they drink a shake as it's low in calories, but high in protein. It's not that hard guys.
