Here are my 2 cents:
Loosing 30kg is pretty much doable and it ain't as hard as you might think. You'll derail on the way to your goal multiple times but every time this happens don't freak out, just get back on track.
First step is calculating your TDEE to see where you are at.
Scooby's Calorie Calculator does a pretty good job.
Then you need to count your calories.
It's calories in vs calories out, simple as that. To reduce weight consume 150-300 calories a day less than your TDEE
Try different kind of eating protocols and see what fits you best, e.g. Intermitted Fasting, Keto, etc.
Eat clean.
Stay away from sugar & alcohol of all kind.
Drink a lot of Water.
Search fit for nice recipes.
Eat healthy cheap food like oats, broccoli, milk, brown rice etc. You'll be able to pay the gym with the money you save in no time.
I'd recommend doing the couchto5k and loose some weight first because 30 kg overweight is a hell lot of weight if you do bodyweight or strength training.
In terms of using weed: It may help you to stay away from alcohol and maybe useful as a sleeping aid/recovery. Be aware of munchies & buy or prepare healthy food before smoking. Low fat quark with honey never tasted that good. But by all means it won't speed up your weight loss it just MIGHT help you staying on track with your goals. Thing is: you have to have the mindset and weed won't give you that.
