Belgium's new health minister is a physician, reportedly a sharp politician known for results, but also 300lb.

Is this a problem? Can you be 300lb and the Health Minister? Isn't this going to lead to do what I say, not as I do?

Check out our minister of defence

I think shoemaker always wear shitties shoes applies here. But she is woman in western civilization so i think some beta feminist fuckboy made her health minister.

>fuckboy

Surely that's physically impossible

She is fat as fuck but she can be good at the office, no fucks given if she does her job correctly.

 No.84814

>>84808

Clearly if she is THREE HUNDRED FUCKING POUNDS she is doing something wrong which means she is actually retarded and doesn't know shit about healthy living and furthermore doesn't give a crap. I mean if she was somewhat chubby then whatever but this bitch is a fucking whale.

>Trusting the government with anything, ever

Overweight is OK, but if she's 300lbs there's a couple problems.

First, she is obviously unable to integrate fitness into her life. Whether it's laziness, or she's busy or whatever, I don't know. But if she doesn't have a desire to get more healthy, as the FUCKING HEALTH MINISTER, something's up. How can she make food and exercise suggestions that kids and adults can easily apply in their life? Why isn't she applying these suggestions to herself?

Second, she will likely go full fat-acceptance. Tell kids it's okay to weigh ten stone at 5 years old and such because she doesn't want to admit she would be considered obese and unhealthy by any reasonable standard.

Basically, her body tells us more about her attitude toward fitness than her resume. And it's an attitude I would hate for the entire country to adopt.

Some people don't have a choice. Look at veterans in the US, for example. They have the extra hell of dealing with veterans affairs/services.

>b-b-but in a perfect world…

I'm with you, but that isn't the issue at hand. The Belgium tax rate is 25-50% of income plus social insecurity (which pays for health care) and a deduction for dependents.

You're forced to pay into the system wether you use it or not

 No.84836

>>84816

Furthermore, fat people are paying the same rate but are undoubtedly using it more

She was appointed 14 months ago.

>Can you be 300lb and the Health Minister?

Yes, as long as she understands it's unhealthy. Same as having a health minister who smokes or a commander in chief who's never had military service.

Dumb questions like this is why /fit/ is losing quality.

 No.84843

>>84841

>a commander in chief who's never had military service.

Everybody who wants to engage in a war should have served at some point, and preferably have seen military action, too.

 No.84844

>>84841

>>84843

Agreed. Any commander in chief without military experience is objectively inferior to one with that actual experience. It's why government is shit - most in charge are simply politicians. It's also why someone like Trump can potentially be a decent president, but never be a truly great president.

Obviously, military personnel can also be shit presidents. But that's a separate matter entirely. Washington best POTUS.

 No.84858

>>84844

Most politicians here in Germany seem to be lawyers. As in, they studied this shit, not they actually practiced as lawyers, although some of them did. You wouldn't notice based on how fucking shitty our laws are, from a legal-systematic viewpoint.

I can't find the pic of the fat nutritionist giving 'her pick' to the chocolate cake or whatever the fuck. So here's this instead.

 No.85008

Of course she can be health minister, just a really bad, or hopefully hypocritical one.

 No.85996

>>85008

Akshually, a chronic smoker who warns others to stop smoking is not a hypocrite. Neither is the alcoholic who hates alcohol. She could even be a living example of someone working to better herself if she wanted.

Unfortunately for the Belgen, I would not get my hopes up.
