Have you done your cardio this week, /fit/? /fit/izen 02/06/16 (Sat) 21:15:21 No.85393
Nice two-three mile run. I notice my squats actually are helping my running. The stronger I get in them, the faster my running is.
Pic somewhat related.

I haven't done cardio in a couple of weeks, I'm feeling sick with myself now.

All is forgiven. That was my first cardio in months.

Ever since I started stiff-legged deadlifts, my knees don't end up in agony. Scary how under-developed my hamstrings were.
BJJ is great, since I can still get some intense work after leg day and still let them recover.
/fit/izen 02/07/16 (Sun) 06:30:25 No.85437
I've been alternating between 35 minutes or running and 1hr 15 minutes of spin.Haven't missed a day in a few months

You can do it on the same day. Your legs will get stronger and adapt by it.

Been to the pool 5 times, I'm doing more cardio than lifting atm.
/fit/izen 02/09/16 (Tue) 16:17:11 No.85675
Over 6 hours on the bike over the past week, about two hours ten minutes so far this week.
/fit/izen 02/14/16 (Sun) 20:46:23 No.86281
For cardio, I only do rope skipping. It's fun as hell and pretty intense.

Running 30-45 min on an eliptical at max elevation and 12-15 resistance (out of 20).
Every day, of course.
I've only done this for about 3 weeks now, I plan to go higher in risistance and longer in time.
Am I going to make it?

I hit the exercise bike 3 times this week for 30 minutes each, varying intensity. Feels good after you make it through your final sprint at your peak resistance level.

I usually do 30 minutes at 2% incline on 4.5 mph. After 30 minutes I usually spend 5 minutes cooling down and slowing my speed. Should I modify this in anyway?
/fit/izen 03/11/16 (Fri) 15:27:26 No.89331
Knocked out 2.5 miles the day before, averaging about 10/week. Lifting on the off days, it's a good balance for me.

Take the elevator, they said. No, I replied. The only elevation I need is one of my heart rate.

I'm trying for more of an endurance thing because of Scooby's advocacy for it.
