/fit/ Drop me some truth about Concentration curls, do they work as intended? I mean, working your biceps fully, without cheats and etc, I noticed I could feel sore in the next day after doing them, something that I couldn't feel in normal barbell curls.

I just generally do concentration curls because they're comfortable to do. And my biceps do happen to be getting bigger.

 No.85982

Concentration curls are all right.

 No.86016

They focus on the peak, but my peak's ok now, so I just superset them right after hammer curls, obviously, with a rather low weight. I think I'm working the entirety of the biceps like this.

Also, quit doing barbell, for 2 weeks or so; start with heavy hammers, then do preachers, then concentrated. If you're strong enough, you could start it all with chin ups, and do back too. That's the way I do it for now, since I'm working everything twice a week.

Women are only TECHNICALLY women on /fit/. How much testosterone has she taken? How long is her "clit"?

Also, is she on /fit/ to begin with? No.

 No.86073

>>86026

I don't even hardly /fit/ and I can do 20 in each hand with relative ease

I plan to get a set of 30lbs dumbells so it's an actual challenge

god damn man

 No.86076

>>86073

It's a notable difference. Your reps will HALVE, just so you know.

 No.86077

>>86076

GOOD

I want a damned challenge

 No.86080

>>86072

I'm joking buddy, relax, also, you could curl even more on a bar, try a few reps instead of 8s and 10s it will make you stronger as hell.

 No.86083

>>86080

Yes, a bar would let me lift heavier weight, but I would lose some muscle control. That's why I prefer dumbells, just like I prefer a bar to a smith machine.

Is this a joke or do you guys have a different definition of curl? When I started lifting I curled 40lbs in each hand.

What happened? Did you run out of bears to wrestle?

 No.86101

google says I curl 44,0925 lbs

 No.86113

>>86095

Same here, but I usually barely went beyond 90 degrees (I would do curls standing up). going to a whole 180 degrees adds the equivalent of about 20 pounds.

 No.86118

>>86113

I am of course assuming that you guys do a FULL range of motion (180 degrees).

 No.86124

>>86118

yeah, I started doing full range exactly like the pic in the OP recently (I've been lifting again for 3 months) and I'm still at 17.5 kilos.
