Saxon here, dumping some OC for a high protein meal that doesn't include chicken and is very easy to make

sticky has hit threadlimit

>step 1, hardest step, buy squidheads

>step 2, boil squidheads with some salt on medium to high heat until they billow out and add 10 extra minutes

>step 3, cut squidheads into rings

>step 4, add a sidedish because squidheads are squishy and awkward to eat alone, I used pickled vegetables (+ grannies pilmeni)

200gr Squid + 200gr pickled vegetables = 376

64grProtein

2,8grFat

9,2grCarbs

no data on grannies pilmeni

Holy shit mister Angry saxon, 32% protein, that's more than chicken breasts

Will try to find this shit frozen or something, if it's cheap will buy it fresh although I doubt it'd be in Sandland

You might consider cutting it before it finishes boiling before those extra 10 minutes then adding it to steamed rice for a quick launch, add some flavour package or soup in a pack or whatever you love calling it in Deutschland for an instant Risotto, might as well add some veggies for extra value, My favorite picks are green peas and carrots, I guess Mushroom could be nice as well, and of course, your favorite spices if you want

A full meal with high value and high protein

Also, uh, speaking of marine life

Pickled Mackerel or Sardines or whatever, also Sol there should be an Umlaut on the o in the word, but I can't find it here on this freakin keyboard, it's a seaweed with high protein

 No.86384

Also, for all of the /fit/izens who want to do this, make sure you buy cuttlefish, it's the one with high protein, the other regular squids only have around 18% protein only, so it's easier to just buy a can of tuna or Mackerel, Clams and Mussels are pretty gud as well

 No.86387

>>86381

it pretty expensive, I got these squids in a russian specialty shop and they were 4,20€/800gr

couldn't cut it beforehand since they were frozen, could've cut them after they unfroze in the pan though

+ nice ideas on the risotto etc.

 No.86390

>>86384

this is something that bothered me aswell, the squids I bought had no nutritional value receipt (like most things in russian specialty shops)

so I am not certain if I got the high or low protein squid

judging from the price I had to pay it better should be the high protein squid in favor of the health of the russian specialty merchant

I don't cook very often but I highly recommend beans, the black ones hold the most protein, I think it's 21g of protein per 100g, slow cooked and served with rice is like the squatz and oatz of Brazil's national kitchen. Here's a image of how it looks, it's simple to do like regular beans and it tastes better. Very low caloric too

Hey you fucker, tell me how you make your feijoada. I'm trying to improve mine.

>3 fat cans of black beans

>fistful of garlic

>bushel of cilantro

>an onion

>2 kielbasas

>salt

>simmer everything but the beans and salt

>add the beans and salt

>cook for 20min

>serve with rice

It's good stuff, but I need input. I need to master this shit.

I'm no chef or trve brazilian cook but I did a quick search in youtube and that video might help, yours sounds very tasty, although we don't usually use garlic as I reckon or canned beans here we buy our beans raw and then we cook it with pork and other kinds of meat, but we usually serve just the beans without meat I suggest trying until you master it, it's delicious and it's cheaper than most incomplete sources of protein per gram.

Fuck, I forgot about crumbs I don't know what it should be translated to english, here we say "farofa", it's a powder of some sort, usually a specific type of flour mixed with butter and little pieces of pork and greens which tastes like a dry and strange kind of orgasm, a very caloric one

 No.86401

>>86398

>>86400

Noice video, it can't hurt to have more MEAT.

I have farofa btw. We don't have it in our stores, but you can order it online. When I'm home my mom makes it with cilantro, garlic, and scrambled eggs. Combine that with the already hearty beans, and it's rich as fuck. Try it sometime, mano.

 No.86402

>squidheads are squishy

Not if you braise them on light olive oil and sweet paprika.

By the way, squid tentacles are superior to squid heads, they contain more protein. Squid tentacle is 93.33% protein, most of the rest is some kind of less-than-digestible animal fibre (long chain protein) with less than 1% energy (fat+sugar).

Probably not healthy to eat alone actually….

Black beans are tasty, but there is another legume even higher in protein.

Lentils.

Only soybeans have more protein. Lentils are thin so they don't need to be soaked, you just throw them in the pot with some water and cook them. They're even cheaper then black beans. They're something we should all be looking into.

 No.86421

>>86420

Only pink lentils

And I don't know why you call them pink, I have only seen orange lentils or black ones the orange ones before having their covers removed

Are the orange ones you Ameeifags call pink?

 No.86422

>>86421

We mostly have green lentils here. The nutrition info on the back always has the highest protein. You pretty much only get red and orange lentils at indian food stores. I've heard of people buying canned black lentils, but I've never seen them.

White beans are nice though. specially with tomato sauce.

Guess who propogate the bullshit 1g per bw lie?

Supp industry.

And what do you do?

Eat more than 30g protein at a time like it does anything but turn into a less effective energy source than carbs or fats if keto after using what your body needs to repair muscle tissue.

And you wonder why you're tired all the time when you drink the supp industry koolaid.

But go ahead and keep buying 5 lbs of chicken breast at $4/lb, not just the supp industry but jeep everywhere love you gullible got useful idiots.

It's a pretty tasty cheese, too strong for some people. It also has a very uncommon texture for cheese because it's hard and crumbly. I personally like it a lot, but that might be what they call an acquired taste. A downside is that it, like many other cheeses, contains quite a lot of salt.

I really don't know if you can buy it anywhere outside of Austria, or even everywhere in Austria. I found this site where you can apparently order it worldwide, but the price is kind of a joke. http://www.austria-onlineshop.com/food_2_0_29_0.html
