Jesus fuck when did /fit/ become this faggy? If you want to see abs you're a homo that doesn't care about strength and you need to lose body fat %.
Starving yourself like in >>86683 WILL NOT WORK. Your body will think your dumb ass is starving so it'll cannibalize your muscles and your fat at the same time. And walking an hour a day means fuck all.
Pick up a barbell, put it on your back and start squatting. Do heavy compound lifts. Eat at your BMR and get plenty of protein intake and you'll keep your muscles while shedding fat. The more muscle you have, the easier it is to cut fat since you burn more energy a day feeding it. Watch the video in >>83773 for more.
I'm willing to bet you'll cut down to <10% bf and still not see defined abs since you're not stronk enough.
Cardio as >>86684 says might help you lose fat but you will never put on any muscle regardless of how much you tire yourself out running up hills. Not to mention you'll do your knees in running - swimming is more effective cardio since you use more of your body.
I hope for your sake OP you'll eventually realize it's not about looking good for some cheap sluts, it's about being strong and the best you can be.
