>Doing diddlylifts today

>doing 2.5pl8 singles trying to get stronger

>palms sweatymom's spaghetti

>grip failing

>without chalk or even paper to help with it

>fear of mixed grip because imbalances

>gym worker complaining about noise >dropping weights too fast because of my grip

>say I couldn't help meself because palms sweaty as fuck

>autism kicks in

>probably prohibited of doing deadlifts if I don't better my grip fast

h-hold me /fit/, what should I do?

 No.86802

Just ignore the faggot and carry on. It's a gym.

I know, but the gym is localized on the second floor of a building ;_; I just need something to get better grip work and ease this shit, sadly that's actually an awesome gym, so going to another is out of question.

Just use mixed grip. I only ever use mixed grip; it's not as awesome for increasing grip strength and it CAN lead to muscle imbalances, but doesn't have to.

Also, do some grip-strengthening exercises. Rack pulls, shrugs, one-handed deadlifts, that kind of stuff.

>it CAN lead to muscle imbalances, but doesn't have to.

How does it work then? it's like some random shit that happens? I could've tried hook grip, but my fingers are either too short or my thumb is too small to make a complete hook out of it.

>DL

Do more squats you faggot.

Also you can buy chalk you know.

 No.86814

Wrist straps

No idea how exactly it happens. Alan Thrall had muscular imbalances, but admitted that many powerlifters use mixed grip their entire career without ever suffering an imbalance. Might be a particular quirk in how muscles are recruited. As in, some people heavily use their traps no matter what, others relax it on their pronated or supinated side when they do mixed grip.

just switch your hands between sets, that's how you avoid inbalances.

also, do farmer walks and don't listen to >>86814

Thanks Spain and Germany I know straps are the devil tho

 No.86840

It's okay man, I know that feel

>tfw legs aren't even tired and can easily lift the weight, but grips can't hold shit because of stupid Hack Squats before diddylifts

Do some farmer walks

Buy some of those grip strength things that look like but crackers, I don't know what you call them there

And I heard dead hangs could help if you do what ever it takes

Okay, what

>>86805

said about mixed grip (I.e. Mixed grip is a good idea. I use it anyway) and how about doing some chins? I often finish off with le chin set and my grip is good. Mind you I do pull downs as well so maybe that helps too.

I hope it works out because it's not good being distracted by what ifs when you lift heavy.

I WILL NEVER DO THAT FUCKING GRIP. Too many fucking people have torn their shit doing mix grip.

If you do, please squeeze your triceps so your arm is locked out.

 No.86860

Get wrist hooks.

inb4 all the bullshit everyone wants to heap on them.

Work on your grip but when it's crapping out on you and you know you can do more it's time for gloves or hooks.

 No.86868

Liquid chalk and mixed grip OP. Alternate the hands every several weeks if you're so worried about muscle imbalances.

Holy shit, this guy at 1:15.

>Snaps the shit out of his biceps

>Still completes the lift

>Walks away with more dignity than most people after they bump their toe

Anyone knows how does it feel when one tears a bicep?

 No.86874

I'd imagine it's like the feeling of your muscles when you get an insane pump, but instead of feeling like it's about to explode, it actually explodes.

Can you cure that?

 No.86924

>>86859

You should feel it before it happens, i'm pretty sure that guy had pain there but decided to keep going because fuck

 No.86932

>>86923

I guess it depends. From what google tells me, it does heal in a few months or so, if it's not severe and you don't get any complications.
