so /fit/? how do you wash yourself in the shower or bath? with a bar soap? or a liquid 'soap'?

I've been experimenting with both liquid and bar soaps, so far my favorite as far as bar soaps go, is pic related.

I like it, aside from the semantics of castile soap being a strictly olive oil soap, it's one of the few store-buyable soaps out there that's fucking different than 90% of other bar soaps.

unless it's homemade, liquid 'soap' is technically a detergent.

the makeup of almost all major brand soaps, and "melt & pour" soaps, is a nonspecified combination of tallow, coconut oil, palm oil, and palm kernel oil. maybe shea butter if you're lucky

Dove bodywash is the key to a perfect physique

I use irish spring bar soap because I'm a big fat faggot who falls for marketing but not as much of a faggot as the people who buy old spice because le ebin black guy commercials

But I do actually like the way it lathers, it's the only soap I've used that's still on the washcloth after I've scrubbed my entire body. Most of them get washed away too easily in the process, or don't lather sufficiently in the first place.

Irish Spring is decent but Dove is GOAT. Cleans the best and smells the best.

What about those of us who were using Old Spice before those commercials?

I've used it since I first started using Deodorant because it was the only one I found that didn't cause my armpits to break out in a rash.

I use old spice cologne because it activates bitches' daddy issues. I think everyone's grandfather or father wore old spice before a certain point in recent history. Or maybe it shares smell ingredients with many others? I don't know but it makes them nostalgic as fuck and comfortable around you instantly.

I just use the cheapest fucking bar soap I can find, because I'm not a faggot.

The secret to good skin is a healthy diet, plenty of water, adequate amounts of sleep and zinc supplementation.

Dr. Bronner's Castille Soap. Either mint, citrus, or lavender.

Made by a JEW.

Made of Jews

I use the cheapest liquid soap I can find. I'm also a chemical engineer and literally oversee soap production and purification.

I let the soap stand for at least 30 seconds in the shower too, skin oil can get fucked.

In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

i use cheap pine tar soap so i smell like a mix between a smoky campfire, a hardware store and old person. i like the smell alright but most people seem to hate it. and it cleared up my acne better than the terrifying drugs my doctor gave me so I'm sticking to it.

I use water. If I'm feeling indulgent I might even use warm water. I shampoo about once a week the rest of the time I just rub my scalp with my fingers.
