First, really consider long and hard if you really are unable to get the recommended amount of protein from a healthy diet. For me that answer is no. I also think you don't need premade meals in tupperware, rather you would want snacks like fruit and/or nuts throughout the say. I think the idea of spacing your meals out like that is a myth.
Plus, I have found that it's actually not that convenient for me to make protein shakes anyways, mainly because it's hard to clean the mixer and the bottle spills easily so you can't bring it to the gym anyways. I would rather eat a piece of fruit. If you can find a sugar free and additive free protein then it's probably okay, but most aren't. Plus, the mere fact that protein powder is heavily processed is a downside - history has shown us that all refined and/or processed foods fuck you up.
If you really wanted to increase your protein for the day, you could simply eat a snack of peanut butter, cottage cheese, beans, or eggs - basically anything you can cook up in a few minutes.
