>I am skinny fat, he is overweight, obese probably, not a hamplanet but still obese
>He does little to no activity
>He wants to go somewhere which is basically a 10-15 minute walk
>He takes a taxi
>Tell him one day "Dude, let's start going to a gym"
>He is all like "Hell yeah, let's do this!"
>One wednesday we meet up to go check the nearby gyms
>His mother is all like "It's great what you to are doing, don't leave him behind Anon, motivate him and help him make it"
>We go and check those gyms
>So, there are basically 4 gyms
>I wanted to go to gym X
>First gym: Before even going there, he nopped out of it, because it was well known and we would meet people we know and shit
>Second gym, the owner cared about money
>He was all like "Regularly guys, the subscription is 250 pounds, but just for you, I will make it 160 pounds!"
>Didn't like that gym that much, was too much, and there were those dudes I knew who went to that gym which I would love to train away from them, we don't get along pretty well
>Third gym, he nopped from it before going there, because it was on the sixth floor of a building and that was too much for him
>Last gym, the gym X I wanted to go to: decent distance, we knew no one, only 80 pounds, all shit is cool
>Fat friend is like "Yeah, that's the shit, let's go to this one"
>"Okay man, let's start on tomorrow (thursday)"
>"Nah, I will be visiting my grandmother and can't come"
>"Okay I will start a day earlier I guess"
>"NO, please, let's start this together please man"
>"Fine, but we start on saturday"
>"Sure thing!"
>Ask him on the way home "What are you trying to achieve?"
>"Lose weight"
>"Why don't you do cardio, go running or something"
>"Yeah right, so that we would look like running cunts"
>"Suit yourself, we should be going to the gym 3 days a week though at least"
>"Uh, can we just go to the gym 2 days a week, those are enough"
>"No they aren't, 3 are the bare minimum"

>The dude is still as fat, nothing has changed, and no matter how much talking I do, he won't go to the gym or at least do some activity instead of taking a taxi every time he takes a shit
>I haven't become mister olympic fitness, I only started less than 4 months ago, but I have made some good health, looks and strength gains
