I decided I needed to get /fit/, I'm too flabby and started to get my shit together.

I've started doing wall press ups and it's only been a week doing 50-100 a day but my arms already seem a little firmer. Is this normal?

I started doing squats as well and I'm struggling to get beyond 10 and the day after my legs feel like jelly. I heard you should do it for 2 days in a row then rest and repeat.

Is there any other low impact shit I should be adding to my routine? I walk half an hour a day already but want to expand on everything. I have a fucked up rib so I can't do high impact stuff but want to strengthen my core and just not be a flabby sack of shit.

LONDON

>2 days in a row

You should be doing squats every other day, 3 times a week.

>50 - 100 a day

If you want to gain some muscle then do something like bench press.

Join a gym and follow SS, it will help build a solid physique, being a female or not, if not in disposal of money, search for a callisthenics routine, push-ups, diamond push-ups, body weight squats and the list goes.

Greyskull LP has female routines. If you're not familiar with Greyskull LP, that 5+ set in the end of each exercise means you have to push the last set to failure.

Op here,

I'm male.

I can't get on the ground, it would mess up my rib. Wall press ups get round that.

Lel, benchpress. Push-ups work fine for beginners.

As someone who does both bench press and push-ups on delta force difficulty (heavier than 220 lbs), I can say that bench press is much more effective.

Well. 99kg fat. Although I still look like a normal human being with too much weight, not like a block of lard with a human being trapped inside.

Losing weight has never been that big a priority for me. I do want to do that (doing keto next month), mostly because of muh weight classes and muh aesthetics, but it's not to turn my life around or anything like that.

>>89402

Fatties play the calisthenics-game on this difficulty. Skellies play it on easy-mode. Doing fourty push-ups at 140 lbs is simply not impressive. Hell, push-ups at that weight are barely a legitimate strength-exercise at all. Been there, done that.

>Doing fourty push-ups at 140 lbs is simply not impressive.

Depends on how tall you are. 140 lbs for someone who is tall means no muscle which means 40 push ups would be pretty difficult.

 No.89537

>>89501

We already have weight classes. We don't need height classes, and we certainly don't need lean muscle mass classes. If your push-ups suck because you have no muscles, then your push-ups simply suck.

It took me six months to get my push-ups up to eighty, at 147 lbs, 5'9. That was several years ago. If I can achieve that in six months at this weight, then someone even lighter doing half that much will not impress me.

 No.89543

Don't ask /fit/, join a real helpful forum like sweat4health.com . The autismal shitstains here will only steer you towards Rippetoe One-True-Wayism AKA permabulk lardasses who constantly cry about being foreveralone virgins.

You will never get anything out of this sperg shitpit except stunting your social development and being fat.

Get out while you can.
