Other gym patrons refuse to call deadlifts "Deadlifts"
They're all like:"Deadlift is the lift you can do only one time mayn"
They haven't heard of 1RM
When they do "Deadlifts" which they call the lumbar they do the following
1- be careless about posture and form
2-jerk the bar
3-bend their back hyperextending their lumbar area as if they are asking for disk damage
4-low weight
5-High reps like 4x10 or so
6-mixed grip
7-Not let the bar touch the ground what so ever
>Current gym:
Have only seen 4 guys other than myself squatting at the rack which doesn't have safety bars including 2 of my friends I train with that I got to squat
When people see me squatting trying to go as deep as I can they are all like:"No man, your knees shouldn't get past your toes and you shouldn't go that deep"
Have only seen one other dude deadlifting does the same stupid shit like the other gym
