Why aren't you eating your boiled greens, /fit/?
Amaranth, kale, beetroot, chicory, spinach… It's all so good. Wash it thoroughly, boil it for 10-15 minutes, add salt, oil, and vinegar/lemon juice and you're on your way!

Is this an epic new meme where we ask why anons "don't do" something really basic and common?

Or you could just eat it raw and preserve all the nutrients. Not to mention raw spinach is delicious but boiled spinach is nasty gunk.

Actually, you generally get more nutrients from cooked greens, especially if you eat them with some kind of oil or fat.

Cooked food is easier to digest true but when you boil shit in water tons of nutrients leach out so unless you are drinking the water you will lose nutrients. For most vegetable steaming or sauteing is best but my original point stands that boiled spinach is some of the grossest shit out there.
