I fucking wish we had 21 mods, sheeit. There's around 15 of them, and half of them are asleep in Euro timezones. There is only a handful of mods who I know are buddies with moot in real life. And to that extent, they've only been together at panels held at various conventions.

If you're searching for nepotism in moot's history, you're going to come up surprisingly dry. There is only a single real instance of favoritism in staff, namely a janitor who does not sign into IRC and does not help work on any boards actively. He is close friends with moot irl and was actually a mod prior, but was demoted because he does jack shit. I suppose moot doesn't boot him altogether because they're still buddies.
