I forgot to add, this is written by Clyde Winters, he's a notorious afrocentist(not that there's anything terrible about that when discussing african history) that claims people like the Olmecs and Sumerians were black.

Well, getting it wrong might be pretty terrible, for a historian.

But I suppose what defines "black" is pretty subjective and arbitrary. I can kind of understand the Sumerian assertion but how the hell does he justify thinking the Olmecs were black-african? I mean, they're from Central America.
