honestly i really don't remember having any kind of idol when i was a kid.

mixed i guess? i remember a few instances of dressing up like pocahontas when i was prepubescent, but mostly i spent my time drawing weird monsters, and playing pretend games with animal and dinosaur plastic toys. i also liked to pretend to be various animals and roam around in the garden while doing an attenborough-style monologue. i was really into nature, and making animals seem fantastical (loved mythological creatures back then) and a lot of my interests were centered around that.

loner. hung about 2-3 friends, who were girls, from the ages of like 5-11, didn't really mix with the other kids that much, and i didn't have many people visit my house either. i ended up with one best friend who was a girl (who is insanely hot now) and pretty much stuck with her

not violent, i probably did have a temper back then because i sure do now. i remember shouting and swearing at my parents and siblings.

kind of rowdy, but i was never violent with people. refusing to go to school was probably my biggest disobedience to my parents. i was a silly grubby kid though, i used to flash my ass and moon people loads too...

i was a weird kid and i'm embarrassed at how i was back then, but i'm also struck by a few things on reflection... i seemed to be a very self-contained kid who didn't really mix with others, and i have no memory whatsoever of body exploration which i was under the impression was something every kid goes through. in my head it's like i was almost oblivious about my body until puberty forced me to notice it.
anyone else go through a similar experience?

Both, probably, but my idols in fiction were always men, and whenever I played imaginary games in my head I always played a male character.

Masculine for a girl but if I had been a boy I might have been considered quite quiet or "feminine" I guess, I did a lot of drawing and reading etc.

Mostly masculine but some feminine. My interests were pretty odd for a child anyway though (Ancient Egypt and horror movies for some reason)

Both. I was very sociable but I also liked to abandon everyone and do my own thing.
