tell me, where you found the second pic? any store?
note: if you want to do one of theese:
0) practise first with a cheap toy figure to experiment, also check information about miniature painting, is easy to find tricks and help in Warhammer related websites
1) clean all pieces with soap and water (just a bath to be sure all dirty of the mold go out
3) glue them with super glue like glue, add some wire in the most delicate conections making a hole in both parts and adding the wire inside, this way you will make the unions stronger
4) use a paint spray like the Games Workshop ones or Vallejo (white or grey is nice, remember to cover in black acrylic paint all the parts you will paint in metalic colors once you do used the spray paint, metalic paint on black surface makes the metal effect looks better)
5) use acrylic paints, Vallejo is the way to go (good paints, awesome range and nice containers, it makes the paint stay longer inside winout dry than the games workshop ones), remember put a liiiiitle bit of water to avoid rough paint dried results
6)use acrylic shades in moderation (mixed with a bit of water) will help to bring the figure some deep and see the details better, both Games Workshop and Vallejo are nice, you can paint them with brush or airbrush
6b)if it have eye decals… better scan them to have a security copy.
Put the decals on water and apply on the surface veeeeeery careful (better search more information about it, you can try to draw them with brush)
7)use spray barnish to protect (better use a satinated finish) add some glossy barnish in brush in some places like eyes if you want to put extra detail…
hope it helps a little bit the people who want to try to do one of this figures
