"Liberalism and Low Self Esteem"

>So far we know that liberals have low self esteem and that having low self esteem causes people to be more liberal. There are at least two ways of looking at this. One way is to say that having low self esteem causes someone to be liberal because it makes it rational for them to favor equality. Equality helps everyone on the bottom half and that's probably where you think you are if you have low self esteem. There's clearly some truth to this narrative. But I believe that people with low self esteem will also be attracted to liberalism because being a liberal helps your self esteem a little bit. In particular, being a liberal let's you view yourself as a kind of moral hero waging a battle against dark and evil forces. Who doesn't feel good about themselves while playing super hero?

>I've found that this theory helps to explain a lot about how liberals debate. In my experience, liberals are more concerned with proving that I am evil than proving that I am wrong. ("The muh anal puritys differ in mean IQ scores." … "You're racist!") I now think that this is because they can only grandstand by showing that I am evil. Showing that I am wrong won't boost their self esteem the way that showing to the world that they are battling evil does.

Does he post on pol?

Is he the hero we don't deserve?

I am humbled by the number of bluepills his videos demolish.

The big problem with liberals isn't that they have low self esteem. The problem is that they will either refuse to get that problem fixed or rage at people who have done something about their self esteem problems and are moving or with life.

This applies in general to the liberal world view. In that world there is no such thing as normal or abnormal. You can be a fucked up freak and the world doesn't have the right to call you for what you are. Instead the world has to adjust around you and accept you for the freak you are instead of you manning up, admitting you are a freak and doing something about it

Yeah leftists love degeneracy. It is a sick worldview fostered by the frankfurt school.

The people you are talking about is SJWs m8. A lot of the liberals of today are SJWs especially in places like San Francisco, New York and most of Cali but even now not all liberals are not this way and this certainly never used to be the case originally. Originally and I don't even mean as far back as classic liberalism I mean even more recently liberal meant a tolerant person understanding of different points of view. It never meant an enabling PoS that many liberal SJWs are.

I still identify myself as a liberal although I would never encourage degeneracy. Be tolerant of it and have a live and let live attitude. Sure. Encourage a person to fuck up his life? Definitely Not
