Welcome to 8chan's board for furry related discussion.

The idea here is to serve as an alternative to /furry/.

If /furry/ is the porn board with discussion, /fur/ is the discussion board with porn.

Rules to keep in mind:

1. Follow the global rules.

2. No doxxing or similar acts.

3. Keep /zoo/ in /zoo/.

4. No namefagging or tripfagging when it is not needed.

I don't think there's much of a need to worry about it. We'll cross that bridge when we've got enough folks to use those if they're wanted.

I probably won't get involved with it as a mod though. Most things like that should be handled by regular users.

Idea: Dedicated stickied porn threads, but they start on another page of the board. One for Female pics, one for Male pics, one for Herm pics, (don't bother with MtF/FtM-specific) and then just a General porn pic thread. Now we can have our porn in a place where we can easily access it, but not be immediately in our face when we come to the board, since this is more for discussion rather than porn.

I think I read something about sticking thread at the end of the board being worked on, but I don't know if that has gotten anywhere yet.

Well, if it has to go to the end of the board, That works, too, as long as "end of the board" is defined.

Invisible threads would be cool, too, if possible. Invisible stickies that you'll see in the catalog but not on the board at all would be awesome. I don't see that requiring much in the way of code. It'd probably be as simple as listing it in catalog but not on the board itself.

It's shitty. It would make sense for /furry/ to do it, but not /fur/.
