There are alternatives. Weasyl, SoFurry.

I only get an account at these places to access mature images, then use imgfur to browse because it's quality-sorted, so I don't have to sift through poor-quality artwork, and imgfur learns what I do and do not like over time according to how I rate the images (by content,) and can recommend art to me based on those preferences.

I still get redirected to the source page by imgfur unless the artist joins the site and allows them to do a full index of their artwork, but it works for my purposes - view art without having to sift through bullshit art and content I don't like.

I never heard of that before. I've been out of the loop on all things furry for the last 3 years. I can't believe I forgot about SoFurry, I remember when it was talked about on /furi/ when the site was being launched.

Also, not worried about the ID change. As soon as one code gets used another is generated so if even if you did just steal the invite, I can just keep giving them out.

On top of that, once you have signed up, you can invite others.

Plenty enough bad rumors floating around about Varka, I wouldn't trust the site too far. We already have words from former BD employees about how they get treated.

Well, while I applaud them for speaking out, there is a small problem.

This isn't going to do much until it hits IMVU's ears.

None of this is going to work until IMVU realizes that the entire FA thing was a horrible mistake.

None of that's going to help, either, unless artists GTFO and move totally off FA.

Which probably isn't going to happen, ever.

So, what do you think they should do?
