I'm either going to have to deal with >>>/furry/ 's /notkind/ness or go to reddit.

It's impossible to have a community not be reddit snowflake garbage without it being /baphomet/-tier edgy trash.

I'd be better off trying to make this a subreddit, as reddit can be nice but not snowflake at the same time.

What's beyond me is how I thought how this would work on 8chan, the most edgy site on the clearnet.

It's quite strange that you expected this to work without setting up some form of board infrastructure before advertising the board and inviting people to come here. The fact that you use the edgy buzzword is quite sad as well, especially since edginess was not really the issue with /furry/. It was the board culture based on ironic shitposting and the fact board got nuked by a massive shitposter 3 times.
