Any Guoh fans in this thread know what his preferred drawing software is? I really like the pencil-like texture of his sketches (though it isn't so much in the pic of his I posted) and knowing what he uses would be a step closer to figuring out how to replicate it. And aside from just wanting to replicate those nice, pencil-like lines, I have been looking for an alternative to Photoshop, so thanks for the suggestions. I use a newer standard monitor and an old cintiq, and it's a real pain relocating Photoshop every time I swap, so I was thinking that having Photoshop always on the newer monitor and something else on the Cintiq would simplify that. The old cintiq's screen isn't the best, but there's still no beating the convenience of drawing directly on the viewing surface.
Now if only I could find a not super sketchy crack for Manga Studio… If it turns out to be good I'd definitely buy it eventually, but money's tight right now and very well could be beyond the 30 day free trial period.

I totally agree, I HATE navigating that site. I don't know if I'm using it wrong or what, but it seems like just looking at the image I want to see is more trouble than it should be. Sometimes I just get the picture I want, others I have to horizontally scroll through two or three that come up first, others I get brought to a sort of different page to see the image alone, and if I go Back from there I get bumped up to the top of the whole page.
