I used to be into farts, but I grew out of them.
It wasn't even about the smell or humiliation aspects. It was based off some of the stuff you'd see in cartoons, where characters could do incredible things with farts like blowing things away or fly. I just liked that idea of ridiculous power behind them. Which is why I looked forward to watching Skunk Fu and Planet Sketch when I was younger.

Sort of in a similar boat. I got into farting mainly through the humour aspect, like exaggerated farts you mentioned, but also how characters talked and reacted to them. Like how they how they call farting by different euphemism, or how they described the aftermath in a prideful or shameful way. Hell, they don't even need to fart, a subtle but suggestive implications that character are gassy was more than enough. I prefer it more to the sexualized aspect you see in these threads.

I also watched these for the same reasons. I remember skunk fu had that flash game where you had to fart without anyone noticing. Planet sketch I only watched for the Pony segments, shame I only caught when it was going off air.
I also remember trash like Johnny test, which has a handful fart jokes involving Dukey. Timon and Pumbaa series had several fart jokes, including a song about them, but it pales in comparison to their movie.
