Physical design is good. I like that her only extremely distinctive feature is the eyes; it's a nice choice. Adding hair and having a fairly human face makes her tend to just being a catgirl, though. Not sure if that's what you intended or if it's just the art, but maybe giving her digitigrade feet would push over to more "furry".
The clothing is… ugh. 50% Preppy, 50% Anime Magical Girl, 50% Nazi; and yes I am aware that adds up to 150% because that's how bad it is. I seriously doubt an arms dealer would dress like that, or anyone with a "legitimate business" that isn't Hot Topic or Professional Hellsing Cosplayer.
Personally, I'd just toss all that out the window and give her a more subdued appearance. The boots are good, but more of a military outfit would fit with the job. Something sensible. If she has gadgets or whatever, she needs somewhere to put them like a belt/pouch or at least freaking pockets (and probably a harness with a gun even if she is a bad shot). Regardless of their skill, few people are going to mess with someone who is openly carrying.

Ahh the outfit, the outfit in the picture was designed by the artist who drew the ref sheet, which I didn't really much problems with, but now I see your point. The original style I set for her had a somewhat more consistent with a theme going on, with blazer coat, vest(which have pockets and compartments to conceal weapons), pleted skirt and of course the necktie & boots. The outfit was more inspired by high-end Japanese private school uniforms, businesswoman attire and maybe a hint of Nazi with the boots + garter belt. The blazer suit coat's practicality is explained by that it's woven by carbon nano fiber for protection against small-to-mid caliber fire.
I'd post a picture or try to update the clothing design on the ref sheet but sadly I'm not gonna have access to my computer for the next few day, but thank you for your analysis and input!

I kind flip between a few forms that are my favorites. What I enjoy most is being a boring and common species. Something so common that it's normal and just ignored. The American Crow, a sugar glider, a rat, and the one exception to all that, a hagfish.

Overall I like the design, the purple spots, eyeshadow, and highlights are a nice contrast to the white and without would have looked rather plain in terms of color design.
You use different shades of purple which helps separate them from on another and I think they work well. though from personal taste I think you should mute the highlights just a little to make them look more natural.
The use of ears as "hair" is a classic stylistic choice and I think it works well with the his actual hair. The style works well with his overall effeminate looks.
One thing that stands out negatively is the two pieces of neckwear. I am not against you using two, but I'm going to gripe against their clash against each other. The way you've drawn it looks like the choker/collar is way up on his neck and that the scarf is pushing it up. The collar should be lower with the scarf over it, or at least have the scarf more loose, letting hang more around his shoulders. The choice of colors and type is fine and the long scarf helps pull the eye over his body.
I am generally against anthros with "animal" legs, I prefer "human" legs, but I say that him standing on his toes works in this case. It makes him look lik he's wearing heels without actually doing it. Raises his butt, elongates his legs, looks good.
Overall I say it's a nice design. I would like to suggest that maybe you could provide a character description. The idea I get from the design and look is an effeminate guy, but self-assured and a bit mouthy.

I think this thread is for critiquing design, not art skill.
In general the design is fine, the more cartoony and less "sexy" head works in favor of the character. The choice of her being a badger fits her being socially unintelligent.
Comfortable clothes fits the "lazy" character. A suggestion is to make her slouch to add to maker her laziness stand out more. Her generally scruffy looks fits the character.
One thing is that you might make her feet claws smaller.
There's also not a lot telling me that she's a mech-pilot in their design, unless that is the point. If you want to do that then perhaps she should wear like a techno belt or a watch.

It's not quite done yet since his weapon belt, weapons, and eye patch have not been finished, but this is what my autism has spawned. (Being done by Naughtymorg since a friend recommended her to me, and has been doing a friggen fantastic job.)
Artemis is the leader of a mercenary band that has done quite well for itself, having essentially become the hidden hand behind various cities and spies almost everywhere in the fictional world I've been developing. Despite the lack of pockets, he has numerous enchanted items and trinkets hidden about him, though most prominent are the cursed Spell Drinker Gauntlets he wears (They work by allowing him to "catch" any offensive magic directed at him and being able to throw it back. Though not many people know, this can be easily worked around by casting at the area around him. What makes them cursed is that they are impossible to remove aside from death or getting the arms cleaved off like the previous user, and the fact that everyone and their dog wants these gloves.) He has a metal plate bolted to his beak because he took a face full of war hammer and managed to walk away from it. The eye patch he's wearing has a practical purpose since he has both eyes, it helps with identifying magical items as well as negating psionic intrusions. He has a kid brother he's overly protective of, and I plan on having him drawn up in the future.

I see a lot of potential in you. You understand the concept of breaking things into shapes which is good. I can tell you used a ref for part of this, which is good and you need to keep doing that. It helps you learn muscle memory, how it feels to draw an arm, a leg, etc. That will help your lines be cleaner since you'll be able to do them faster. You need to look at how the things like the head and the right arm utilize the 3D plane and apply that to the rest of your drawing.

I'm sure I overdid it here and a lot is just personal preference, so just take what you will from it.
Bottom lip looks really weird on a shark, and so did the bump on the bridge of the nose, so I tried taking those out. I'm guessing the pupil should be looking at the camera, but I couldn't tell if it was looking at it or behind. I tried moving it forward for the sake of it.
Also having a small dot for a pupil makes it look really demon-y or aggressive-y. But maybe that's what you were looking for, so I don't know. Usually the upper or lower lid, or at least some of the shadow of the upper lid, will go over the pupil and that makes it look less menacing.
The right eye also seems too high so I moved it down a bit to match the perspective of the rest of the body. Other small stuff included moving the nose to match the center of the face a bit more.
So take what you will from it. I'm sure a lot of other people will disagree with me here.
