I liked/still like /g/ on halfchan, say what you will but COMPARED to many of the other boards it was much more mature and being so SFW was a real nice break. People were surprisingly helpful and kind. Many threads actually stayed on topic can you believe.
I hope this board will keep some of the values of old /g/. Right now on the catalog there is some kind of anime character sitting on a traffic cone - I hope you all understand. We all have our laughs over at places like /v/, but browsing /g/ was always a pleasant experience.

Instead of making the embarrassing mistake of posting my terrible, terrible setup, I'd like to just describe it.
I've got a shitty cheap plastic foldable desk (you know what I'm talking about) in a garbage room with two laptops and the same Razer keyboard every faggot has, with a Logitech G400s mouse and a bunch of soda cans, water bottles, and some dishes I should probably take to the sink.
I'm a NEET living off my parents who have been occasionally giving me nice things I don't deserve, although it's certainly nothing to be smug about, my setup does what I need it to do and that's all I really need. I'll worry about getting something better once I've moved out and can take care of myself.
Actually the only thing I could really use is a new chair. This thing is like sitting on wood with little bumps right where my ass bones are. Actually that's exactly what it is. Subscribe to my kickstarter or however that works.
