>Be me an inexperienced programmer. No job experience

I've already finished all of Codecademy's track excluding API's (If I haven't deleted my account I would've shown you) that I only did a small handful of.

Currently I haven't been coding in 2 years as my computer gotten old and is collecting dust like a motherfucker on a weekly basis to the level of crashing.

I'm just getting back after knowing only CSS, HTML, and, Python on a solid level of understanding. So I want to get back to programming.

How do I find a job which I can not guarentee of staying for more than a month.

you don't. you go and learn your shit to at least a competent level. i am in this same boat in a way. right now i can code to the point that job experience is the best way to really get any more gud.

but it's hard to find a beginning job that isn't with some sjw faggot company.

i consider maybe just work there for a year and go where i want to go then so i'm not stuck with libsjw.

advice? places to work (coding) that aren't fucked by libsjw?

oh i just said this to someone yesterday

i think its good advice

make a 1 page app, make a 2 page app, make a form, make a ajax form, make something with animation [animate.css jstween or material ui]

thats pretty much all you need to get a front end job, its like ~3-5 days of work and youll be better than 2-3 year exp. dev

pro tip while at work if your stuck on something just go on irc (freenode) and ask how to do it, or google for the stackoverflow answer... answers in less than 60 sec usually for any problem.

yep def would agree with that. learning how to search for answers and documentation, and learning how to ask the right questions definitely is half the battle. and project experience / coding is more important than any certification. i don't do webdev though, mostly c++ and database stuff. some perl.

also, contributing to an open source project helps to find a job because they can see your code and you get experience. but it's hard to find a company these days at least somewhat resistant to libsjw. know of any?

>been fucking around with webdesign (html, css, js) since i was 14

>slowly getting better, started doing it for some persons, later companies

>400-600€ per website, later 1000 to 1500€

>have a (shit) idea for a personal project and learn php for it

>have a (shit) idea for a startup with a friend, learn node.js for it

>both of those ideas went nowhere obviously

>one of the programmers in our team for the startup asks me 6 months later if i wanted to work at the company he's working at

>we talk, i demand more than double the pay they are suggesting

>i think this won't go through at all

>they hire me

>mfw

>simultaneously started going to university and working for that company

>working exclusively as a javascript dev for a frontend app

>been going for 4 months now, pretty happy with it

In all low-level jobs that deal with webdesign/development, the skills themselves aren't worth shit and easily learned. All i do all day is trying to read horrible legacy code and googling problems.

The "hard" part is getting to know people or just straight up applying for jobs.

hotwheels fix the site
