This just in: if you ignored my previous warnings about Hola, a remote execution bug was found. If you still have Hola installed, any website you visit can install arbitrary programs on your PC to steal data or spy on you. (technical details)

What are some minor things that people do that piss you off… Nothing PC-breaking or serious long term damage, just minor stuff like looking up Google with Google

When people do repetitive actions in an editor instead of using macros

When they don't use keyboard shortcuts for common shit like locking the station.

When people open Visual Studio and ask me what would happen if he/she change something, instead of changing it and compiling to see what happens.

But I am very lazy, and I use my left hand for the mouse. My right hand is usually right near the lower right quadrant of the keyboard, and the L key is about an inch and a half from the right Ctrl key. It is much easier to move my right thumb and index finger to hit Ctrl+L instead of actually lifting my arm and reaching the full 6 inches to the F6 key. By comparison, this is quite the chore.

How the hell does the right thumb and index finger become the logical choice? Which finger is on what key? I know I'm right handed, and this negates everything, but when I press CTRL+L on that side of the keyboard my pinkie is on CTRL and my index is on L. I am genuinely curious.

I'm also genuinely very drunk. Keep that in mind.

>be pair programming

>be working on a little game in java
>theres this problem where the controls are inverted while they shouldnt, moveleft() goes right, moveright() goes left
>instead of simple renaming left and right he starts adjusting every operator in the methods themselves
its not like we had extensive comments in there either way, he couldve just copypasted it all.
