To the /g2/ owner:
I am about to buy an ad for my board, /tech2/. I was wondering if you wanted in on the ad. I've also invited the owner of /gentoo/ as well. I'm not asking to split the price of the ad, I just want more choice in where we all can go for technology discussion. Still waiting on /gentoo/'s owner to respond.
Desktop thread
Because having to use a completely different board to post this stuff if fucking stupid.

Digitial Forenscis Thread
I've recently got into forensics and it's pretty intersesting. If you've ever wanted to go "under the hood" of comoputers then you should try it out.
Im currently reading this book: The basics of digital forensics by John Sammons.

How Can I Use Linux + Adobe Creative Suite?
Is there a way I can use Linux as my OS and emulate Winshit or Yosemishit to run Adobe Creative Suite or Creative Cloud products.
I need the Adobe Creative programs, like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, etc.
Problem is I'm stuck with Windows or Apple OS.
I'm concerned about security and want to switch to Linux or another WYSIWYG OS if possible.
Do you have advice on making Adobe Creative products run on Linux or a non-Windows/Apple OS?
Is it worth it to switch from Yosemite or Windows to Linux from a RAM standpoint (if an emulator is needed)?
Thanks in advance.
