What the hell is that thing bro? Looks like a wireless credit card reader or something.

You will probably have to find the company who made it to get support for it, I would imagine there is some special software that needs to be installed in order to use it as well.

it's a RFID reader/writer. i bought it for both writing cards for my home security and because i was tryna hack my schools security passes. Thought i might be able to force myself to be admin

Sounds pretty cool but i doubt you can get it to work without finding drivers for it.

Must be some cheap chinese knock off, Open up the case there might not even be anything in it lol.

Yeah i though of opening it but it's vibration sealed…

Also, i think my school has either of these security setups…

1.All the info about the person is on their security card. (in which case i suspect they encrypted it somehow. Although my school isn't the brightest so it might be possible they didn't)

2. All cards have a unique ID which is sent to the main server for entry evaluation. (in which case i can't change jackshit. The server is on an inaccessible subnet.)

I doubt they bothered to encrypt it, What can you do with a hacked card anyway? Sneak into school?

When i was in school i spent most of my time trying to sneak OUT.

XD True dat.

You're missing the point though. If it has my data on it, it shouldn't be unencrypted.

My intention was to see if i could gain access to our classroom when it is locked off during breaks.

Honestly i would just try to buy a name brand RFID reader, I'm sure they exist.

The RFID data on your school card probably just has an id number that matches your info in the schools database somewhere so it's probably not any personal info.

Only one way to find out though.

exactly my point, i'm just hoping i can actually pull something like this off.
