Well, as much as I'd like meeting right under the SJWs noses (Berlin should be a hive with all the leftists and hipsters living there), I think the choice of location is less than stellar for people like me who live in the far south. It would be an 8-hour drive for me, and the cost would be astronomical.

What about moving the meeting to a more central city like Kassel? Or what about making a list of possible locations and then holding a poll?

Hallo deutsche GamerGater.

I guess, we're not connected well enough to have a meeting yet. Don't get me wrong. The idea itself is good and i know, that there are many german GG'ers out there. But afaik we're scattered all over the place and usually arent that visible because we all speak english when talking about GamerGate.

Maybe we should network first before we try to have a meeting. Maybe create a hashtag we can use for communication on Twitter or have a thread here to list sites of german GamerGaters or youtube channels and similiar so we know where to get our info.

I'm involved in a couple of things which are #GamerGate related. For example is there a weekly livestream that i host and in which we (the stream group) talk about #GamerGate and the reception of it in the german news. You can find it on youtube if you're interested. The link is https://www.youtube.com/user/Agotharis. Theres also a german blogger running http://gamergateblog.de who reacts to german news coverage and blogs about GG happenings. Hes one of our stream guests, too.

To amplify what we do, i created https://twitter.com/GamerGateGER a couple of days ago. Thats our shared team account. If you follow it, you'll see when our stream is announced and also if our blogger wrote something new.

Also gamergateblog.de is looking for guest writers so if you have something GG related to say that would be one place where you can do that. Also i'm always glad to have different guests in our stream to hear all the different opinions that exist on and in GG.

Going from Stuttgart to Berlin by train costs about 150 bucks. You can widdle this down depending on how early you book, but it ain't getting cheaper than 50-60 bucks.

There are buses which are a lot cheaper, but driving 9 hours in a crammed bus to a city I hate to hang out with a bunch of faggots I've never met doesn't sound too worthwile to be honest. No offense.

I have been appointed, by myself, to organize a #GGinBerlin meetup. There is a proposal for the 31st of october and I kinda like the date. Where in berlin I don't know so far, I wanted to hear first how many people have intrest and then I would look for a location.
