The obvious thing is that there's no actual CURE for what they're going through. Anyone actually suffering from a brain condition like this, and I mean *actually suffering* would probably pay any amount of money for a magic pill that would make it all go away instead of years of surgery or hormones or whatever.

There are a few differences in white matter. They aren't an entirely different brain as a lot of shills like to claim but there are actual physical differences in multiple studied patients.

You don't need a major brain issue to have an actual crippling brain disorder. Something like ADD or Autism, when it's actually there and not self diagnosed or done to hawk pills, can be just as hard to detect or harder and be even more crippling, and their medications can be just as bad or worse in terms of having awful effects in the brain as the actual condition.

Note that I'm talking about people with the actual verifiable condition and not self diagnosed faggots in denial or someone like Jenner trying to escape responsibility. The actual population of these people is probably like 0.1 percent of the ones claiming to have it but that group actually suffers from an incurable brain disorder and needs actual psychiatric help.

Just google about transgender brain scans and white matter and you'll come on to articles pretty quickly, and those will link you to scholarly sources. But getting the primary documents unless you're a student or academic is going to be costly, as it always is.

As for hermaphrodites, I think your friend needs to actually think about what 1 in 200 LOOKS like. It sounds like a pretty small minority until you realize you'd probably need to have gone to highschool with about half a dozen of them for that to make any sense. You'd realistically need to go up to one in thousands for it to make any sense.

Even then keep in mind what hermaphrodite MEANS, from a medical perspective. Unlike what hentai is telling you it's not just some woman with a dick or someone with one of both, most of them have this really fucked up genitalia. You may get a bit more if you widen the net to include all kinds of birth defects that generally aren't considered to "count" as true hermaphrodites but clearly have something abnormal going on.

I did some googling around for this reply and the ISNA, which apparently handles this shit, straight up says actual intersex people are like one in a thousand at the very most common qualifier, and that's mostly just chromosome errors. They also say outright that third gender shit is mostly insulting and demeaning because you're blanketing a whole bunch of genuine medical conditions into a social construct that doesn't exist and never has.

It also says the very first thing a parent who gets blindsided by this in the delivery room should immediately decide on a gender and run with it. Because flip flopping on child development isn't really good for any kid and you obviously shouldn't just make up pronouns as you go.
