Has anyone ever considered the possibility that maybe /gghq/'s decline is because of 8chan in its entirety? That perhaps a lot of GGers don't want to be around any part of this site, /gghq/ included?
And before you say anything, no, this has nothing to do with people being sensitive or thinking 8chan's a pedo site like goons so frequently claim. I think there's plenty of people that can handle 8chan's offensive content, but most don't want to because the place is so fucking dreary and paranoid all the time, and every day hundreds of people are actively trying to keep it that way. I've never wanted to take away your right to discuss Bill Gates or the Soviet Union or whatever, but I didn't come here to be involved in any of that. That's not what I came to 8chan for, it's not what I came to the gamergate boards for, and it's not what I came to 8/v/ for. And I'm sure it's the same story for many of the people who have stopped visiting this board.
