Quite a few of the games on Indiefund also just so happen to be Indiecade nominees this year, and a lot of those nominees have ties to Indiecade staff members

Butt Sniffin Pugs is working with Maya Kramer (@legobutts) as a PR Coordinator and is in the "2015 Official Selections: Digital Selects" list.

Maya Kramer has a history of being corrupt. She allegedly was the a romantic/sex partner of ZQ and is an organizer of IndieCade. ZQ won an award for her game Depression Quest last year.

Given that 8Diamonds is a goldmine, I suggest that this thread should be used to figure out the legal ramifications this has. (FTC stuff and all that)

Okay, I'll start digging in the FTC regulations anons. If there is a fag here with a law background that would be most helpful.

And here we go. What IndieCade does - and a lot of other people do - is what's called Crony Capitalism and falls under anti-trust laws. And yes, it's illegal.
