Internet (much like TV broadcasts and radio have been for a few decades now) is considered a "state concession" now. That means that there can be private providers, but they are gracefully being given permission to do it.

Internet just recently (as of last year, if I remember correctly) got into the package. It's downhill from now to us. And likelly to the rest of the world too.
