I wouldn't quite put it that way. I'd replace "friend" with "short-term, exploitable semi-ally". I'm all for the covert (and often lulzy) exploitation (or creation) of schisms within SocJus. All it takes is to find out where the fractures are and put a bug in the right tumblrina's ear. The tension last year between white radfems and femturd "Women Of Color" wasn't exactly spontaneous. The same could be said of feminists turning against male feminist Hugo Schwyzer (aka "Mangina I-Blow") some years back was in part.
