The Center for Democracy and Technology is /pol/-compliant, but let's take this seriously. Most of its board does not turn up in previous digging. Board chair Dierdre Mulligan is a member of the Global Network Initiative which appears to have been tapped to spread disinformation about Gamergate. That probably had much to do with Microsoft being a founding member of GNI. Mulligan herself is not known to have done anything.
There are no other name matches but this may be interesting: CDT counsel Alice Leiter shares the name of the wife of Michael Leiter, director of the National Counterterrorism Center.
