I missed HannibalTheVictors channel. but I got Laughnwitch and SRHbutts onto archive.org.

LW's rip was completed mere hours before she pulled her channel so I guarantee you it's the most complete out there, not just specific videos. It's abbout 95 percent of everything she uploaded.

So what we need are a dedicated set of volunteers who can temporally hold and upload to Archive.org a LOT of data. LW was about a 25 gig rip. Not just SJW shit either, ours too so they can't get channels pulled.

If you count re-uploading the video to Youtube as a "archival", you're a fool they can get that pulled too. Archive.org has a mostly bulletproof DMCA exemption (don't upload Hollywood movies there though, I mean it don't abuse that place).

When someone goes after GG, or an individual in GG, or is interesting, we need to map out their online presence and archive it. Archive.is pages, youtube-dl the entire channel not just specific videos, tumblr-utils their tumblrs, mirror deviant arts (theres scrips for this too).

I'm sick of losing peoples channels and them acting like it never happened and Hannibal would have been a great one to get. But at least I got LW and SRHbutts.

I manage a lot of non-GG archival so I'm busy (also easy to get ahold of is you need advice). I need your help. I need your machine time, bandwidth and watchful eyes to make sure this shit doesn't get lost anymore. The best way is to somehow co-ordinate who's doing what and have people stick to it.

The youtube channels are tricky since they can be deleted by the uploader or youtube's bullshit copyright laws.

But you can download them save them in a folder and stick them in dropbox,mega or some other file uploading service.

Tricky how? You can just run a command (linux) once a day and it will grab any new videos (assuming you grabbed all the channel already). Thats how I did LW.

Or I can upload them to Archive.org that has a built in video player and DMCA safe harbor instead of shitty serices like Mega, Youtube and Dropbox?

Ghetto methods of downloading youtube videos also exist, jdownloadr works as well for batch downloads. Its just a matter of bandwidth at this point.
