It's better to create change on a cultural level. The hard truth is that we individuals have little access to the larger scheme, things happen behind closed doors with vips and politicians that are slave to party talking points, and we are not invited anywhere near.
The only thing people like us can hope to change are the people around us, the issues that occur in their daily lives, the peripheral. Like for example, there was never some official national declaration of what an SJW is, and there never will be. The concept was born and spread by individuals, and it caught like wildfire with Gamergate providing the fuel.
You can go be like those idiots who wait to get arrested at public protests or whatever, only to look crazy and accomplish nothing but getting your 'hey I'm hip cuz I got arrested by the man for being a revolutionary!" badge. We can't fight these systems head on, we have to change the people that will be employed by them, the people that feed them.
Dumbass.
