you know there are really 2 ways to win Gamergate,

1) the progressive/liberal lite media gets its shit together and stop all this 'war on women' bullshit agenda writing and report on the industry and the gamers fairly.

2) a shift in ideology for the masses radically to the right as the pendulum swings on the political landscape along with the grassroots that it is no longer profitable to report on progressive causes any more.

Guess which one is happening.

As someone that is moderate right on my political beliefs I have no issues with this, but I can tell there is a cognitive dissonance with the liberal minded in Gamergate and the whole infighting as different people want more followers to fight for their cause, and also because the pendulum is swinging really hard in Europe making it hard for the liberals to thrive on their bleeding hard beliefs. Who knows what might happen in the U.S. as well and what is the fallout?
