One of the things that came to my mind when we learned that LW was getting a movie:

A movie can be forgotten, but the facts can't be changed: every minimally serious study about GG proved that the "hate group" allegation is a lie (Newsweek study + WAM study) and we even managed to convince the people who makes journos' most important paradigm for code of ethics that media bought a false narrative instead of making fair coverage.

How can propaganda go so far into a lie? How far can they go in a lie? I don't mean how far can they go with a lie (e.g. profits), but how much can they stretch and deform the truth in order to get what they want?

so far the funding is NOT looking well.

After the fiasco that was the 1st (and I mean here how the debate was handled, and how little was explained, and the general atrtitude of Koretsky) people prolly don't feel like funding the same thing twice, they would need to offer something new. We got our 1st airplay showing we were not ze evil Axis empire, we don't need a 2nd one for that. We got to partially explain GG to the SJP and have them understand what it was about, we don't need to do it again, the info is there. We don't have the troops to easily fund this again. but most of all I don't see the point here.

I still would like this to happen, but I have not felt an incentive to fund it like I did the 1st time

I'd be excited for this one if it wasn't that it costs $10,000 for us to do it without any clear purpose, direction, or idea of:
