I don't post here much anymore since we pretty much accomplished what I wanted (Game Journo's and their SJ buttbuddies are a laughing stock surviving on the charity of like-minded fools, but no longer with any influence over the industry that has resoundingly rejected them now), but I watched the episode start to finish last night, and while I doubt Trey and Matt are exactly reading gghq threads or anything, I'm quite confident at least someone with a strong voice in the writers room knows about GG in some depth and wanted to make it clear this was a nod in our direction. Why?

This is basically OUR L&OSVU.

Think about it.

Everything the SJW's said was happening was EXACTLY scripted into the L&O SVU episode. It was hilarious, but honestly, that's exactly their side of the story, told with a straight face.

Everything WE said was happening is EXACTLY scripted into this episode (and somewhat in the Reality episode). Short of a direct reference to VIDEO GAMES journalists, this was a retelling of gamergate from our perspective. Down to the SJW's being whiteknighting cucks who are only in it out of a desperate desire for female approval. Down to that letting them be hapless lackeys for corrupt journalists disguising advertising as news. Down to a cripple calling attention to it and their laughable attempts to save face and retreat to their hugboxes when faced with the reality that they are the ones being dismissive of those that they claim to represent and protect. EVERYTHING.

There's no way this episode got made without SOMEONE at least gently guiding it to run in parallel ways to what happened with Gamergate. It's pretty hilarious seeing our SVU episode. Go Jimmy. Go Barbrady. Save the world.
