tl;dr both parties believe they are le-rusing each other
Slimebeast thought he made a TRP dystopian parody and got some cash selling it to suckers, but the gubmint thought it was an actual brainwashing tool.
It's like that fuckin' The Feminists book at the beginning of the 70s, where they seem to have taken it as an instruction manual on the proper way to bring about an utopia rather than a vicious mockery of their movement.

and just 5 years before that

and what came out a year before this that this book is undoubtedly a response to?

random interesting note btw:
there's some discrepancies where particular 'household feminist names' like Kate Millett, MacKinnon, Dworkin, etc. are missing from the NOW article…

>>because the rest were dangerous sexual deviants, some with confirmed psychological mental illnesses
If you jewgle-fu the names of prominent 2nd wave feminists that MGTOW/MRAs had the most issues with ten+ years ago, + founding/founder, you'll see that feminists have been eating themselves since the beginning, as they've been expunged from the wiki article (or not even there to begin with!)
The missing women apparently had ideological differences and split off to become the founders of "The National Women's Political Caucus" and subsequently other organisations.
Any that split off in those first 5 years were no longer considered "NOW founders," though you'll occasionally find period books and collegiate papers in google or googlebooks referring to them as such, and are considered so by the 'Veteran Feminists of America.'
One example in particular:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolores_Alexander
sounds a lot like the 'unpersoning' the SJ cultists do to the 'outliers' such as when Tait went too far, or the Claire Schumann incident.
tl;dr acting like SJs was a thing long before we actually had words or a website for it.
Two other relevant entries that are interesting reading:

A large part of what's going on right now (like the DoaX/StreetFighter/Bayonetta things) appears to be the rest of modern society unknowingly caught in the middle of the second round of these.
(This is probably how some twitard/tumblr feminists are winding up finding themselves in the pro-gg camp, whether they want to or not)
The pro-sex ones were so busy whipping up alarmist fears against Ashcroft and the remnants of the fading Moral Majority they didn't notice the anti-sex ones taking all the positions of media and academic power from them!
