Captain Marvel is never going to happen. Fans don't like Carol after Matt Fraction's wife raped her worse than Jim Shooter did ,in terms of using her as a soap box to promote herself over the character. Nor will they ever get that Black Widow film they are bitching about wanting.

The thing about UFC, speaking as an armchair analyst here, is that quite often what I find is it comes down to numbers. People see some hotshot rookie with a half a dozen wins who can say they're "undefeated" and have some gimmick and then they think they have some superman instead of someone who's either just slightly above the average or got lucky.
I mean there was that MTF fighting in the womens league that won a few amateur fights easy, and people were talking about how it was an unfair advantage. Then that same fighter got their ass handed to them immediately after. Because male body or no those fights were against rank amateurs with below average stats, and even a mediocre fighter like the one that one was able to take it. If it wasn't one of their pet projects they'd have bragged about how a strong woman can beat anybody with enough training, but it was so they didn't.
You also see the same thing outside of SJW shill stuff with guys like Ben Fodor. He pulled the same DBZ fanboy fighter shtick and had the Phoenix Jones thing to hype him up back when he was undefeated, but he has lost because nerd hype doesn't mean a fighter is invincible.
Holm, who beat Rousey, is now the top dog because SHE gets to claim the title of badass undefeated martial artist, but the reality is she will get her first loss eventually. The only real difference is that Holm doesn't seem to buy into the media games as much as the other three and as a married woman going under the name "preachers daughter" isn't likely to get shilled out as a replacement.

Do you know where women in refrigerators came from? It was from Kyle Rayner's girlfriend being cut up and stuffed into a fridge for him to find and motivate him into revenge. The heart of the problem there wasn't that a woman was hurt though that's the take away of most people , it's that she could of just as easily been Kyle's favourite mug. She had no character, no personality, it was a woman that existed purely as a prop. It was also completely unnecessary to the story, unlike the origins you mentioned (and everyone voted to kill Jason). I'd call it bad writing myself because it's not always women, but that was her view.

Actually Nu52 Secret Six is dog shit.
Basically all of the problems that befell Batgirl (IE Gail making it grim dark) plus the needless purging of the bulk of the old roster and the ones that remained, not resembling the characters at all.
The bullshit delays also damned the series (the artist drawing it was so fucking slow, it was constantly delayed).
The roster thing is the biggest issue: The loss of Deadshot to Suicide Squad was bad, but they could have covered for it by playing up Bane as Deadshot's replacement (especially since none of the writers at the Batman books seem to be using him).
But they jetisoned the entire cast for a bunch of F-Listers save for Catman and Black Alice, neither or which resembled their old selves. I know Scandal and Rag Doll and a couple of the others eventually made a cameo appearance in a filler story (rushed out because the book fell so fucking far behind schedule) but the delays and complete tonal shift and the worst possible changes to the rosters one could imagine, killed the book dead.

He was hired to write Suicide Squad when the first Nu52 left the book and got fired after about three issues. His run shat all over previous characteristics: Amanda Waller was pure evil and wholesale tortured Deadshot, let alone the whole bit where she tells Deadshot NO ONE on the team will actually get let go, as far as Suicide Squad being a scam, something that got dropped as quickly as Batman editoral demanding a story where Harley became a mass murderer that killed hundreds of kids was retconned a dream as soon as the story was published by other writers who saw how damaging the issue was. He also made Killer Shark suddenly turn out to be worthless beta virgin, which did not match ANY previous characteristics of the guy, let alone a bit where he had Harley murder a Joker Cosplayer just because she could.
He's a shit writer and his attempt to ruin Nathan Edmondson's career most likely was out of jealousy that he was blacklisted from Marvel after his shit fit over Chris Kyle brought Marvel a ton of bad publicity.

It's not even original. This year another comic book about a girl and a T-Rex-like dinosaur happened. Goddamit, with all the hoopla about moon-girl that comic doesn't pop on search engines.
All I remember is that the dinosaur listened to the girl and she rode it to fight the other monsters that came from the same dimensional breach.
