Pure self policing bulshit. Teach the girl as you would teach a boy to be responsible for himself. Being drunk is a dangerous situation, why? coz there are bastards out there. If you are a girl they might try to rape you. If you are a guy they might try to rob you or kill you. It's a lot to lose when you don't have complete self awareness, and the world is like that sadly. I would like it to be another way but is not, so if a guy tries to touch her, she should know how to defend herself. If a guy tries to rape or choke her, she should know how to defend herself.
That's not fucking victim blaming, it's fucking common sense. The real world is a dangerous place, and nobody would like to see their loved ones get involved on such violence, but as we teach kids to not enter into the cars of strangers we should try to teach boys and girls to take responsability for themselves and learn some fucking self respect. That's real equality. Feminists on the other hand say that is sexist to tell women to be able to defend themselves, and prefer to have centers for the already wounded or raped than preventing and avoiding the trauma of endless women and their families.
