Basically, what happened is that people who are trying to contribute (by digging, analyzing, etc.) have moved away from /gghq/ because Acidman is banhappy.
Although trolls can circumvent banning easily (for example, everyone should be using a VPN, and that has the side effect of making it really easy to get past bans), people who actually want to contribute tend to go elsewhere. Since /ggrevolt/ is a pile of shit (as it went hard towards the opposite problem, which is never holding assholes accountable), contributors either left GG completely, snuck off to IRC in an attempt to continue working on #thinkserious/etc., or went to voat/plebbit//v/.
If you want to keep doing something useful, you can find some of us on #burgersandfries on Rizon, or go over to voat's /v/KotakuInaction or /v/Gamergate. Or, if you can handle the massive amounts of cancer, Reddit's /r/Kotakuinaction or Twitter. (Reddit's admins are hostile.)
Basically, GG's not happening on 8chan anymore. Blame Acidman for fucking this place up, and blame /ggrevolt/ for not being a good alternative.
